This DVD highlights the effects of a brain injury on development by featuring Darnell who was injured as a teenager and Ariel, who was injured as a child of 17 months. Darnell, injured as a teenager, lives at home and attends college. Narrated by his parents and sister, they talk about their emotional trauma, the process of grieving, his recovery and their struggle to accept this different person. Ariel, injured when 17 months old, is now a teenager.
